I bought this cookbook because it connected with the new Momentum Program. What a waste of my money and my time. OK, I was only interested in the vegetarian recipes in the book, but after trying between 6-8 different recipes, I can confidently give this book a 2 Thumbs Down. Don’t waste your time or your points!! Believe me, I’m not a fussy eater, but I do like a little flavor whether on program or not. The ‘Double Macaroni & Cheese’ recipe on page 220 is a beige, soupy, concoction which is pasta floating in milk and a little hit of cheese flavor. It didn’t look anything like the photo. The ‘Mixed Vegetable and Tofu Stir-Fry’ on page 229 is basicially flavorless except for the unseasoned rice vinegar which was overpowering. I think Weight Watchers should be ashamed to put their name on this cookbook – for sure no one in the company tasted or tested any of these recipes or they would not have moved forward with publishing. Maybe that’s why it itsn’t for sale at meetings!

The spiral binding keeps this cookbook laying flat while I cook. Received very quickly and in great condition.

I cannot say that I follow the recipes exactly as some items are unfamiliar but they set the stage for short-cut ideas. I can have a colorful and healthy meal with filling foods in a few minutes. And then some recipes advice one to cook extra for another meal plan the next day. Saves time! It has wonderful mouth watering pictures and a spiral binding so pages lie open for easy viewing.

Easy and quick to prepare. Uses easy to find or able to substitute ingredients. The meals are tasty. Great pics. Excellent index. Even my husband likes the meals…. all around great cookbook. Especially in the Arizona heat where cooking time can heat up the kitchen.
